I wanted a place where my words could start a real conversation.
I have always loved writing. But for a long time, I did not know how my words resonated beyond my close circle. I needed honest feedback, readers who cared, and a place to ask my questions.
Even after publication, those needs remained. Finding guidance, reaching readers, and building lasting connections was still difficult. I wanted a community where a shared love of writing could bring us together.
That is why I created Plumetrill: to share a piece of writing, learn from other perspectives, find useful resources, and help one another move forward. A space where you can be both the writer looking for support and the reader who offers it.
Before publication, I had so many questions: where should I send my manuscript? How could I understand a publishing contract? What if readers did not connect with my work? I needed a place to find answers and share my doubts.
Later, sharing my work with a wider audience brought another challenge. A post could attract attention for a moment, then disappear. What I wanted was a lasting exchange: sharing an excerpt, listening to readers, discovering other writers, and growing together.
Plumetrill began with that need. My hope is that it becomes a place where you can share your words, your doubts, and your curiosity, and help someone else along the way.
Anyone who loves reading or writing. Whether you are here to discover new voices, share your first piece, or develop your writing, you are welcome.
